Background:

FMS-related tyrosine kinase 3 (FLT3) is a receptor tyrosine kinase that regulates hematopoiesis.  Upon ligand binding, the receptor is activated inducing a homodimer formation in the plasma membrane leading to autophosphorylation of the receptor.  Activated FLT3 can also phosphorylate and activate multiple cytoplasmic effector molecules in pathways implicated in apoptosis, proliferation and differentiation of hematopoietic cells in bone marrow.  Mutations that result in constitutive activation of this receptor are associated with acute myeloid leukemia and acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of mouse FLT3.  Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN₃. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
