Background:

Period circadian protein homolog 3 (PER3) is a component of the circadian clock mechanism which is essential for generating circadian rhythms. PER3 is a homodimer which can bind heme, as well as interact directly with PER1, PER2, CRY1, CRY2, and TIMELESS. PER3 interaction with CSNK1D or CSKN1E promotes nuclear location of PER proteins.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the middle region of human PER3. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
