Background:

Interleukin 7 receptor (IL7Ra) is the receptor for interleukine 7.  The interleukin 2 receptor gamma chain is required for IL7Ra to function properly.  IL7Ra has been shown to play a vital role in the V(d)J recombination during lymphocyte development.  It has also been found to control the accessibility of the TCR gamma locus by STAT5 and histone acetylation.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the middle region of mouse IL7Ra.  Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
