R0090-1 - PRDM16 (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted M.W.: 140 kDa Uniprot ID: A2A935 Background: PR domain containing 16 (PRDM16) is a zinc finger transcription factor that binds to DNA and functions as a transcriptional regulator. It functions in the differentiation of brown adipose tissue which is specialized in dissipating chemical energy in the form of heat in response to cold or excess feeding while white adipose tissue is specialized in storage of excess energy and the control of systemic metabolism. PRDM16 along with CEBPB regulate the differentiation of myoblastic precursors into brown adipose cells. This gene has been implicated in a translocation event that occurs in a subset of acute myeloid leukemia and myelodysplastic syndrome. Other Names: RP23-351I23.3, 5730557K01Rik, C130091E20, KIAA1675, csp1, mKIAA1675, mel1 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of mouse PRDM16. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:5,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications.
