R1956-1 - TICAM1 (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB, IP
Predicted I Observed M.W.: 76 I 100 kDa Uniprot ID: Q8IUC6
Background:
TIR domain-containing adapter molecule 1 (TICAM1) is Involved in innate immunity against invading pathogens. TICAM1 is an adapter used by TLR3 and TLR4 (through TICAM2) to mediate NF-kappa-B and interferon-regulatory factor (IRF) activation, and to induce apoptosis. Ligand binding to these receptors results in TICAM1 recruitment through its TIR domain. Distinct protein-interaction motifs allow recruitment of the effector proteins TBK1, TRAF6 and RIPK1; which in turn, lead to the activation of transcription factors IRF3 and IRF7, NF-kappa-B and FADD, respectively. TICAM1 is ubiquitously expressed with higher levels observed in liver.
Other Names:
TIR domain-containing adapter molecule 1, TICAM-1, Proline-rich, vinculin and TIR domain-containing protein B, Putative NF-kappa-B-activating protein 502H, Toll-interleukin-1 receptor domain-containing adapter protein inducing interferon beta, TIR domain-containing adapter protein inducing IFN-beta, PRVTIRB, TRIF, TRIP
Source and Purity:
Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human TICAM1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
Storage Buffer and Condition:
Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
Species Specificity:
Human, Mouse
Tested Applications:
WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) IP: 1:100 - 1:200
*: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications.
Product Data: Fig 1. (A) Western blot (WB) of total cell extracts from a. mouse thymus,b. human HeLa, c. human Jurkat; using anti-TICAM1 (N) (R1956-1) at RT for 2 h. (B) IP-WB. Immunoprecipitation (IP) was performed with mouse thymus extracts with IgG or anti-TICAM1 (N) (R1956-1), followed by WB with the same Ab.
