Background:

Lysine-specific demethylase 6A (KDM6A) is a histone demethylase that specifically demethylates 'Lys-27' of histone H3, thereby playing a central role in histone code. KDM6A can demethylate trimethylated and dimethylated but not monomethylated H3 'Lys-27', and it plays a central role in the regulation of posterior development by regulating HOX gene expression. KDM6A also regulates the recruitment of the PRC1 complex and monoubiquitination of histone H2A.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human KDM6A, which is distinct from the antigen for KDM6A (N1) (R0225-1). Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN₃. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
